Two of our top dogs will be performing at the Oracle Cloud Day in London on 1 November. It’s a big event for the industry – exploring how cloud ecosystems drive digital transformation and bring data-driven innovation into business.
Gareth will join John Abel (Oracle’s Engineered Systems and Public Technology Cloud Leader for the UK and Ireland) and a panel of industry analysts to talk about how we use Oracle technology and what it’s done for business at the customer round table session.
He’ll be focusing on the Oracle products we have deployed, why we needed them, and how they have paid off (and should carry on paying off). And why Oracle was the stand-out solution for us.
The analysts at the table include Bindi Bhuller (Research Director at Gartner), IDC’s Chief Analyst for Europe, Philip Carter, and Mark Blowers (Ovum’s Practice Leader, Infrastructure Solutions).
Simon is delivering two sessions about Oracle Cloud Development Track. His first session will take the audience through YellowDog’s development journey our platform was built and the YellowDog methodologies.
Following on from that is a ‘sofa session’ contrasting YellowDog with a couple of much larger businesses (one of which is Specsavers) to demonstrate that you can move at an incredible pace without a legacy system with YellowDog being the prime example of this.
And , finally, the event pulls in a stellar cast of speakers including Richard Noble OBE (and former world land speed record holder) as visionary keynote. He’ll be talking about how data powered his world record attempt and what his team is focusing on now.
