YellowDog partners with OCF to make hybrid-cloud HPC a reality

Today YellowDog and OCF announce a partnership to support hybrid-cloud deployments for compute-intensive customers.

We’re delighted to announce that we’ve partnered with OCF to bring together a broad range of services and solutions that can help customers (such as startups, enterprises and public sector organisations) achieve faster, cheaper, and more scalable cloud-based HPC solutions. YellowDog will support OCF’s on-premise HPC customers as they burst into the cloud or launch hybrid-cloud deployments.

OCF offers bespoke solutions and services to meet the most demanding HPC, Cloud and AI workloads. By partnering with YellowDog, they can offer a new dimension to their customer base, with the ability to access any compute, from any vendor, at any time. The YellowDog platform enables customers to automate scheduling based on preferences, with automatic failover to ensure constant optimal use of compute.

YellowDog and OCF have produced a joint listing on the Government’s Digital Marketplace, focused on helping public sector customers launching HPC in the cloud. This includes the design, deployment and (optional) management of a HPC service in a Public Cloud. Full details can be found here.
